Terms of Service

Welcome to Gablio. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Gablio mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Gablio ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using Gablio, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Gablio is an AI-powered language learning application that generates personalized daily lessons tailored to your proficiency level, interests, and learning goals. The Service includes:

• AI-generated language lessons across 12+ supported languages
• Interactive exercises including fill-in-the-blank, multiple choice, translation, matching, true/false, and sentence reorder
• Structured grammar lessons and learning paths
• Vocabulary tracking and progress monitoring
• PDF export of lessons
• Offline access to cached lessons

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

You can use Gablio without creating an account. An anonymous session is created automatically on first launch. To sync your progress across devices, you may optionally sign in using a supported social login provider (Apple, Google, or Facebook).

Account Responsibility

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@gablio.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier

Gablio offers a free tier that provides access to core features including daily AI-generated lessons, exercises, and offline access.

Premium Subscription

Gablio offers a premium subscription ("Gablio Premium") that unlocks additional features such as custom topic focus and custom learning paths. Premium subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store via Adapty.

Billing and Auto-Renewal

Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select). Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until that period ends.

Refunds

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Refund requests are subject to the refund policies of the respective platform. We do not process refunds directly. Please contact Apple or Google for refund inquiries.

5. User Content and Data

When you use Gablio, we collect and store data related to your learning activity, including your language preferences, proficiency level, lesson history, exercise scores, streak data, vocabulary progress, and learning path progress.

This data is used to personalize your learning experience and track your progress. For full details on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service in any way that:

• Violates any applicable law, regulation, or these Terms
• Abuses, harasses, or harms other users or third parties
• Attempts to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the application
• Uses automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the Service or extract data
• Interferes with or disrupts the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service
• Attempts to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems
• Reproduces, distributes, or publicly displays any content from the Service without our prior written consent
• Uses the Service for any commercial purpose without our authorization

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we determine, at our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms.

7. AI-Generated Content

Gablio uses artificial intelligence (including Google Gemini and other AI models via OpenRouter) to generate personalized language lessons. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content is provided for educational purposes only and may contain inaccuracies, errors, or imperfections
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated lesson content
• AI-generated lessons should not be relied upon as the sole source of language instruction or as a substitute for professional language education
• The quality of AI-generated content may vary and is subject to the capabilities and limitations of the underlying AI models

8. Intellectual Property

Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, branding, logos, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by Gablio and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

AI-Generated Lesson Content

AI-generated lessons provided through the Service are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may export lessons as PDFs for your own study purposes. You may not redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit AI-generated lesson content.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected
• The Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Gablio and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service
• Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-generated content
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or transmissions
• Any third-party conduct or content on or through the Service

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty US dollars ($50), whichever is greater.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms
• Conduct that we determine, at our sole discretion, to be harmful to other users, third parties, or the Service
• Extended periods of inactivity
• Requests by law enforcement or government agencies

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

You may also delete your account at any time through the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or by contacting us at support@gablio.com. See our Data Deletion Policy for details on what happens to your data.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, we may notify you through the app or via email.

Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
